Police say gun fired after spat

HOLIDAY - A 40-year-old man faces charges after he reportedly fired a gun out a bedroom window after hitting his wife several times, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office reported. Sean Emil Corr of 1036 Brass Lane was arrested early Sunday morning and booked into the Land O' Lakes Jail on charges of shooting into an occupied private residence and domestic battery. He was released later on $8,000 bail. A deputy was called to Corr's home about 11:30 p.m. Saturday where Corr's wife, Christine, said her husband punched her in the face several times, causing her nose to bleed, an arrest report said. She said Corr then went in a bedroom, closed the door and fired a 9mm Smith and Wesson pistol out the rear window of the house while Christine Corr and her children were in the living room, the report said.
Sean Corr denied hitting his wife, but admitted to firing the gun out the window and into the ground, the report states.
