ST. PETERSBURG — Tampa Bay's heat is about to break, but Sunday will still see temperatures in the high 80s, meteorologists forecast.
According to 10Weather WTSP meteorologists, there is a chance for late afternoon showers, but most of the day will be sunny. Winds will blow with gusts as high as 18 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Storm threats will be greater Monday and Tuesday as a cold front moves in, bringing with it much cooler temperatures. Highs as moderate as 72 degrees and lows in the 50s should come mid-week.
