SANFORD - Shark bite closes Treasure Coast beach A Florida beach has been closed after reports of a shark bite. Officials say a swimmer was bitten on the lower leg or ankle Monday at Jensen Beach, north of Stuart. The bite was not considered life-threatening. Officials say they will evaluate beach conditions later this week to determine if they'll reopen.
