Polk deputies seek Pinellas man accused of pushing woman from speeding car

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said an arrest warrant was issued for a Pinellas County man accused of beating and pushing a woman from a speeding car.

The incident took place on Feb. 17, the Sheriff’s Office said. Remond Brown II, 26, was traveling with the woman in a black Honda Accord near Highway 60 East and Silvio Road in Lake Wales, deputies said, when he started punching her in the face multiple times before pushing her out of the car.

The Sheriff’s Office said Brown lives in the St. Petersburg area and that may be his current location.

He faces charges including second-degree attempted murder, battery and grand theft of a motor vehicle.

Brown is described as a black male about 5-foot-4 weighing 170 pounds. His photo was released by the Sheriff’s Office, and he could still be driving the black 2017 Honda Accord with Florida tag 717TDH.

Brown has been arrested several times in Pinellas County, records show, on charges such as domestic battery and drug possession.
