Halftime Music Festival with T.I. at Raymond James Stadium: Postponed indefinitely

Bad news for anyone holding out hope that the first-year Halftime Music Festival in Tampa might live up to its hype.

The festival, which was originally scheduled to feature Snoop Dogg and T.I. in the north parking lot of Raymond James Stadium, has been "postponed indefinitely," according to Tampa Sports Authority spokesman Bobby Silvest.

Organizers for NoNaNi Entertainment — who had already postponed the event from May 5 to June 9 due to a "scheduling conflict" with an artist — did not immediately return calls. A Facebook page for the festival had been removed on Monday afternoon, though some tickets were still on sale.

NoNaNi in March inked a contract to rent the lot from the Tampa Sports Authority for $6,600. When the festival was postponed the first time, producer Reese Caezar told blamed it on Snoop Dogg, telling the Times, "It literally was Snoop's office that messed this up."
