The University of South Florida might be hoping to inspire a new generation of Spielbergs and Kubricks with this year's USF Bullstock headliner.
Renegades hitmakers X Ambassadors will return to Tampa to headline the school's free Bullstock concert on April 6 in the parking lot of the USF Sun Dome. Among the bands opening will be Bradenton pop-punk group We the Kings and at least one student band-battle winner.
The event features carnival games and rides and food trucks, and is open not only to students and faculty, but to the general public as well. There are worse ways to spend a Friday happy hour than a free concert, right?
Bullstock is one of several highlights of this year's USF Week, which runs April 2-7 on the Tampa campus. Look for various rallies, athletic events and speakers, including one University Lecture Series event on April 3 whose guest has not yet been announced. Those tend to be pretty big names; last year's USF Week speaker was Oscar winner Viola Davis.
