Corporate Social Responsibility at TBO
Giving back to the community has always been a key focus at TBO from the beginning, and as we continue to grow our businesses across product line and geographies it remains our priority.
The group has been involved in several Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives over the years and have been doing best we can to promote education, tech literacy, hygiene and personal care etc. in India, some of which are featured below:
The Earth Saviours Foundation
They are a Gurguram-based NGO dedicated to serving the underprivileged, the helpless, and mistreated animals. TBO contributed to the Earth Saviours Foundation for the procurement of a solar plant for their Mandawar shelter home occupied by senior citizens and mentally disabled persons.
Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (IIT DELHI)
The FITT is an industrial interface organization of IIT Delhi that helps it in running academic outreach programs for school children, especially girls. TBO is funding the crucial equipment needed for recording the classes and making them available to students throughout India.
Bhartiya Jansewa Sansthan (BJS)
BJS is engaged in improving the standard of living, providing education, and creating livelihood in the tribal, rural, and slum areas across India. TBO provided funds for the construction of Bharatiya Shishu Vidyamandir, a school in Tangarmunda, Odisha to strengthen their cause and instill a sense of change.
Sewa Bharti
Sewa Bharti works towards aiding education, skill development, women empowerment, and health in the socially & economically weaker sections of society. TBO sponsored the annual expenses—education, hostel, and boarding—for 20 students at Sewa Bharati Sewa Dham Vidya Mandir, a Senior Secondary school run by Sewa Bharti.
Panini Kanya Mahavidyalaya
Panini Kanya Mahavidyalaya, run on the residential Gurukul system, imparts traditional and vocational education to girls with an impetus on musical abilities. TBO aided Mahavidyalaya in procuring musical instruments, fortifying its objective of helping the pupils lead independent and fulfilling lives.
Center for Excellence in Energy and Telecommunication (IIT MADRAS)
With the looming energy crisis, the Centre is involved in the development and implementation of Energy Management Systems, managing and controlling the energy generation sources at IITMRP. TBO funded the R&D activities of the center to develop an efficient power management system and also helped procure the machinery and equipment to aid the same.
