HOLIDAY — A Massachusetts woman won the “Unstoppable Mom” contest that had included Monica Miracle of Pasco County among the four finalists.

The contest was sponsored by the “Live! With Kelly and Michael” television show, and Liz Norden of Stoneham, Mass., was revealed as the winner on Friday morning’s broadcast. Viewers voted on the contestants via the Internet.

Each of the finalists had a remarkable story to tell.

Miracle, 27, of Holiday, had taken on the responsibility of caring for her ill mother-in-law and four foster children whom her mother-in-law had adopted, all the while going through a difficult pregnancy herself. Her mother-in-law died of cancer in January, and Miracle and her husband, Jeremy, continue to raise the four foster children, ages 7 to 16, along with their 18-month-old son, Jayce.

Each of the four finalists was featured on the show. Miracle appeared Wednesday.

The winner of the “Unstoppable Mom” contest was given $100,000, but each of the finalists also received a family vacation. Miracle was awarded a week-long cruise for the entire family.
