The sun is coming out today, and that means higher temperatures around the Tampa area.

As the area dries out after heavy storms Friday, Saturday is going to be much clearer with only a 30 percent chance of spotty inland showers, News Channel 8 meteorologist Bryan Bennett said.

The clearer skies means the afternoon high is expected to get up to 92 degrees, with high humidity, Bennett said.

Sunday will be even drier and hotter, with only a 10 to 20 percent chance of rain, and a high of 93.
