Weak front to increase Tampa's rain chances this weekend
Winds off the Gulf of Mexico will fuel increased rain chances along the coast, before a weak front leads to a wet weekend. The onshore wind flow also will bring higher humidity, with temperatures in the low-90s, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said. Those stray showers will push inland later today, with afternoon storms more likely in inland counties. The morning coastal showers will continue Saturday, but as the front arrives, rain chances will climb to 60 percent on Sunday.
