Humidity is on the rise, and so are temperatures as the Tampa Bay area can expect a warm Mother's Day weekend before a cold front brings more comfortable conditions next week.
After a warmer morning, highs today will reach the upper-80s with lows approaching 70. But a southeasterly wind will bring more moisture, a few extra clouds and a slight chance for a mainly inland shower, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
The mild trend continues through Saturday.
A front arrives Sunday that will increase rain chances through Monday and keep highs to the mid-80s, setting up a more comfortable work week with highs in the low- to mid-80s and lower humidity.
