Another hot day is in store for the Tampa Bay region, as above average temperatures settle in while rain chances gradually increase this week.
After a warm, humid start with temperatures in the low-70s, highs today will be above average, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
Highs will approach 90, with a chance mainly inland showers later this afternoon, and lows in the low-70s.
Wednesday’s highs again will be near 90, with increased shower activity starting Thursday.
