The Tampa Bay area will enjoy one more day of pleasant, spring-like weather before it is interrupted by a day of rain and then cooler temperatures.
After some possible early-morning fog, highs today again will approach 80, but under building cloud cover this afternoon, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
Lows tonight will be in the low-60s.
A low-pressure system in the Gulf of Mexico will approach the coast overnight, and will create scattered storms on Wednesday with highs near 80.
The front will move through quickly, but a cold front will then sink from the north on Thursday, keeping highs in the mid-60s and lows in the mid-40s — but under sunny skies.
After a chilly Friday morning, temperatures will gradually warm, setting the stage for another gorgeous weekend.
