A cold front, which is blasting much of the country with the first arctic chill of the season, is approaching the Tampa Bay area, will cause temperatures to plummet overnight.
We will see cloudy skies, a few sprinkles, breezy conditions, and temperatures dropping into the mid-50s, WFLA-TV meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
Heading off to work Wednesday morning, there may perhaps be a few sprinkles, and you will have to hold onto your hat as the winds will be picking up.
After a mild morning, highs will only be near 70 with a small rain chance ahead of the front.
Lows Wednesday night also will be in the low 50s, but temperatures will gradually warm up again starting Thursday afternoon.
