Some early-morning fog and low fog will burn off quickly, leading to another warm day in the Tampa Bay area.
Today’s high will be above average, climbing to 88 under partly cloudy skies and higher humidity, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
Lows will only drop into the upper-60s to low-70s tonight.
A cold front, approaching from the west, is expected to stall before it reaches Florida. The front won’t generate cooler temperatures, but it will push rain chances to 20 percent starting Saturday.
