Ideal conditions will greet parade-goers and Tampa-area residents who are off today for Martin Luther King Day.
The region is under a Dense Fog Advisory until 9 a.m., but after a chilly morning and once the fog burns off, skies will by clear and highs will reach 70 under mostly sunny skies, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
Lows tonight will drop into the mid-40s.
Another mild day is on tap for Tuesday, but clouds will build as a cold front arrives Tuesday night, bringing a 30 percent chance of rain.
Highs Wednesday will only reach the upper-50s, and the cool temperatures will last heading into the weekend.
