Tampa Bay Weather
Summer has gotten an early start here
The summer solstice officially begins early Friday, meteorologist Steve Jerve says, but the Tampa Bay area already is very much in a summertime pattern, with warm days and mostly afternoon storms. This evening may bring us a shower or storm and evening temps in the mid 80s. Overnight lows will be in the upper 70s. A morning shower or storm is possible near coastal areas. Thursday, expect sun and clouds with a 50 percent chance of storms, with highs in the low 90s.
