Meteorologist Mace Michaels
Storm Team 8 meteorologist Mace Michaels gives you the weekend forecast Saturdays and Sundays at 9am and Noon. In addition to his forecasts, Mace also reports on weather-related stories throughout the week.
Mace started at WFLA in April, 2000. He came from WINK-TV in Fort Myers, where he served as the weekend meteorologist. Before that, Mace's career has taken him all over the midwest, including Michigan and Wisconsin. He has extensive background in WSI Weather Producer graphics system.
Mace received his American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval in 1997. He graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1993.
He lives in Tampa with his wife.
