After a stretch of unseasonably frigid conditions, followed by a string of dreary, rainy days, spring-like weather returns to the Tampa area this week.
Temperatures will be above average throughout the week, and increased humidity could produce stray showers, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
After some patchy fog, highs today will approach 80 under partly cloudy skies. Lows will be in the low-60s.
That forecast will hold up the rest of the week, but with increased rain chances and slightly cooler temperatures Thursday as a cold front passes.
