Residents throughout the Tampa Bay area could see a wet commute as a disturbance continues to pass across north Florida.
Those southerly winds off the Gulf of Mexico are bringing rain primarily from Pasco County upward this morning, but pushing east to Hillsborough and Polk, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
Humid conditions will return again this afternoon.
Temperatures are already starting out in the low-80s in some areas, and there is a 50 percent chance for scattered thunderstorms - with a few still possible overnight.
