It’s a good day to have an indoor backup plan if you’re in the Tampa Bay area, WFLA-TV meteorologist Bryan Bennett said.
After a clear morning, there will be a 60 percent chance of showers and storms across the area from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the highest chance of rain around 2 p.m., Bennett said.
There’s also a possibility of lightning, Bennett said.
Today’s high will be around 86 degrees.
Father’s Day will be slightly clearer and warmer, with Sunday’s high around 90 degrees and about a 50 percent chance of rain, Bennett said.
