A strong line of storms is moving through the Tampa Bay region from the north, creating a wet day before another cold front drives temperatures down heading into the weekend.
Some areas to the north, including Pasco and Hernando counties, were seeing some showers early this morning, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
After a mild morning, the showers will push south through the region, clearing later today into tonight.
There is an 80 percent chance of showers today, with highs reaching the low-70s.
Cooler air arrives Wednesday, but another cold front will pass through, driving Thursday’s highs into the mid- to upper-50s and lows in the mid-30s.
