Once again, scattered storms are developing and moving toward the Gulf Coast until around 8 or 9 p.m., says WFLA-TV meteorologist Bryan Bennett.
We will have a few heavy downpours and frequent lightning in the storms that do rumble toward the Gulf coast later this evening, Bennett says.
There is a slightly better chance of seeing a late evening storm if you live south of the Bay. High temperatures today will be in the lower 90s. Overnight, expect partly cloudy skies with lows in the upper 70s.
