This week’s ongoing warmth will be around a bit longer in the Tampa Bay area before the first of two cold fronts arrives Sunday.
Expect today to have near-record highs in the mid-80s with a small chance of rain, News Channel 8 meteorolgist Leigh Spann said. Lows will be in the upper 60s.
Saturday brings a repeat of above-average warmth for this time of year.
On Sunday, the first front passes the region, dropping highs to a more-seasonable mid-70s and lows in mid-50s, Spann said.
Temperatures rise a bit until Wednesday, when a stronger front brings a better chance for rain and drops highs to the low 70s in time for Thanksgiving, Spann said.
