†Saturday is the last official day of summer, and the forecast says it’s going to be clear with lots of sunshine, and slightly lower humidity.
“The satellite shows we’re completely cloud and rain free,” WFLA meteorologist Bryan Bennett said.
There’s only a 10 percent of rain around the Tampa Bay area, and the afternoon high will be around 91 degrees. “There’s a large system drifting our way right now from Georgia, but that won’t start to affect us until Monday,” Bennett said.
Daily highs will stay around 90 degrees for the next seven days, but water temperatures are starting to drop slightly. That means this could be a good weekend to enjoy the beach if you like warm water, Bennett said.
