Early risers will notice a bit more tropical humidity in the air, a precursor to another hot afternoon but building clouds and rain by Wednesday.
Highs today will remain above average, with some areas surpassing 90 with a small chance of an afternoon shower along the coast, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
Lows will drop only into the mid-70s.
Clouds will increase overnight, and there is a 60 percent chance of storms Wednesday primarily in the afternoon, ahead of a front that arrives Thursday.
Rain continues Thursday into Friday, but expect a clear, pleasant weekend with temperatures in the low- to mid-80s.
