WFLA-TV meteorologist Julie Phillps says the drier day we saw Sunday will be a trend into next week.
Overnight a few showers will be possible in inland locations, but most of the region remains dry, she says. A muggy flow off the Gulf will keep temps warm near 80 degrees Monday morning.
Expect more sunshine around on Monday, so temps will climb to the low 90s. High pressure and a drier air mass will help inhibit too many storms from forming.
