The Tampa Bay area should brace for another round of stifling humidity and typical afternoon rain chances. Winds off the Gulf of Mexico are fueling the sticky conditions, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said. The region may see a stray shower this morning and isolated showers as early as noon, with higher chances to the north and storms pushing inland this afternoon. Highs today will approach 90.
