Gradual warming trend leading into weekend for Tampa area
While sunny, comfortable conditions remain in control over the Tampa Bay area, a gradual warming trend will bring a return to more seasonal temperatures leading into the weekend. Humidity remains low and temperatures today stay below average under sunny skies, with highs in the low- to mid-80s and lows in the mid-60s tonight, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said. Temperatures will begin to warm as an area of high pressure moves across the state, with highs reaching the upper-80s. Skies remain sunny, but rain chances increase to 30 percent on Motherís Day.
