It will be warmer and more humid in the Tampa Bay area today, a trend that will continue throughout the week.
Skies should remain partly cloudy and rain-free, however, the National Weather Service said.
Expect highs today in the mid-80s and lows tonight in the mid-60s.
With the humidity up, the weather service calls for patchy fog in the early mornings.
Temperatures will nudge up over the next few days to make Halloween evening a little hot and sticky. After a high near 90 on Thursday, it will be in the low 80s about sundown when trick-or-treating begins, according to News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann.
A weak cold front passes through the area by Friday, bringing an increased chance for rain and a slight cool-down for the weekend, Spann said.
