Expect another warm day in the Tampa Bay area with a chance of afternoon showers.
After a mild morning, highs this afternoon will be in the mid-80s with a 40 percent chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Lows tonight will be in the upper 60s as a weakening cold front passes and stalls to the south of the Bay area, according to News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann.
The weather service puts overnight rain chances at 50 percent.
The cold front won’t do much to cool the region off. Tuesday highs remain in the lower 80s, the weather service said.
It’s the same front that brought fatal, destruction storms and tornadoes across the Midwest on Sunday, Spann said.
