Winter begins Saturday, but it won’t feel like it in the Tampa Bay area.
A warming trend will bring high temperatures into the 80s today and lasting through the weekend, the National Weather Service says. Overnight lows will be in the 60s, and the humidity also goes up.
There’s a 10 percent chance of rain through Monday, when a weakening cold front will drop temperatures a bit by Christmas, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann says. The front will increase the chance for rain. Spann says highs on Wednesday will be in the mid-70s, just above the seasonal range.
