Fall is coming to the Tampa Bay area. We will just have to endure another day of sticky, potentially wet conditions.
After some patchy fog this morning, highs will climb into the mid- to upper-80s with higher humidity and partly cloudy skies, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
Rain chances are 20 percent today.
An approaching front just to our north will pass through the area overnight into Wednesday. It will bring a few overnight showers, and a 50 percent chance of rain.
Once the front passes, though, cooler, much drier air will follow. Overnight lows will drop to the low-60s, and highs into the weekends will only reach just above 80 under sunny skies and lows in the high-50s in some areas.
These conditions will last into the weekend.
