This past weekend’s pleasant fall conditions will extend into today, before a warming trend brings higher temperatures and increased rain chances into the work week.
Crisp, cool air is in place today, with low humidity and brisk northeasterly winds keeping highs at a seasonal 81 under mostly sunny skies, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
Lows will drop into the low-60s.
The winds, however, will shift more from the east and south starting Tuesday, creating higher humidity and more clouds. Rain chances will be 20 percent leading into the weekend, with highs climbing back into the mid- to upper-80s.
