A cold front that passed through the Tampa Bay area has ushered in some cooler weather, but another one on its heels will provide a significant chill heading into the weekend.
The first front has stalled to our south, bringing seasonal temperatures today, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
Highs today will reach the mid- to upper-60s, with clouds building in the afternoon ahead of the next cold front.
The second front arrives tonight. Showers will develop overnight, bringing much cooler temperatures Thursday morning and highs only reaching the mid-50s.
Temperatures will remain below average through the weekend.
