A warm, muggy start to the work week will quickly give way to cool breezes and below-average temperatures today as a cold front pushes through the Tampa Bay area.
Humidity is high and some clouds will linger this morning ahead of the front, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
But the cold front will arrive this afternoon, kicking up breezy winds from the northeast and keeping today’s high to the low-80s.
Lows tonight will drop into the 50s tonight and Tuesday night, with lows in the upper-40s possible in northern areas.
The dry, comfortable conditions will last through the week, with sunny skies and virtually no chance of rain until the weekend.
