Another wet afternoon commute for Tampa area motorists
Tampa Bay area residents can expect another wet afternoon commute as thunderstorms drift from the east. After a warm, muggy morning, rain chances will climb to 50 percent early this afternoon as the isolated storms build in the east and move into the region thanks to southeasterly winds, News Channel 8 meteorologist Bryan Bennett said. Highs today will be in the low-90s, with lows in the mid- to upper-70s. Similar conditions are expected to prevail through the work week.
