Another cloudy day is in store for the Tampa area today and rain chances increase as clouds move over Florida from the Gulf of Mexico. The rain should arrive about dinner time.
The chance of rain remains about 50 percent for later today, according to Jeremy Eisenzopf, meteorologist for News Channel 8. He said the best chance for rain will be south from Tampa to Sarasota as the storm system moves in from the Gulf. Some of the storms might be strong.
There also is a good chance of rain overnight.
Today's high is about 76 and a low of 64 for today.
There is a remaining 30 percent chance for rain Monday in the morning, but then those chances disappear throughout the day. The high for Monday morning will be around 67.
Warmer and drier air is coming for the Tampa area for the rest of the week and should deliver highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid-60s.
