Tampa Bay will be warming up today and by the afternoon clear skies and sunshine promise ideal conditions without an abundance of humidity.
But Tuesday morning started a little chilly with temperatures in upper 50s before sunrise. By afternoon, temperatures should reach into the upper 70s, forecasters said.
A dry air mass that followed the cold front, the culprit for the rain on Sunday, has driven away cloud cover and humidity. A lot of sunshine will be a prominent feature for the rest of the week.
By Wednesday afternoon, temperatures should return to a more average range in the low 80s.
Light showers won’t roll into the area until late Saturday or early Sunday, when another cold front meanders over to the bay area. Muggy weather could be in story by next week, forecasters said.
