After a week of chilly temperatures, Tampa Bay’s weather will warm up in time for the weekend.
Some may still wake to low temperatures before their morning commute with areas settled in the low 50s before sunrise. By lunchtime, sparse cloud cover and bright sunshine will increase temperatures into the lower 70s, according to the National Weather Service.
A small craft advisory will be in affect until 11 a.m. while northwestern winds push and strengthen the tide, forecasters said.
But for the most part, forecasters predict few problems this weekend. Folks still planning out their weekend can expect temperatures to remain near the upper 70s and lower 80s.
Both weekend days should be mostly sunny with sparse cloud cover and cool, dry winds. At night, temperatures will drop to the lower 60s. These temperatures should continue into the next week.
A small front, however, may provide a few inland showers on Monday, forecasters said.
