Preschoolers will again get in free at Busch Gardens in 2018

Kids 5 and younger can once again get in free at Busch Gardens for the rest of 2018 after registering online.

The Tampa theme park has offered the Preschool Card for the last three years, but earlier this month had been telling inquiring customers the promotion would not be offered in 2018.

On Jan. 15, SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, which owns Busch Gardens, announced that preschoolers can go to SeaWorld Orlando for free throughout 2018, but Busch Gardens did not make the same offer.

It looks like nagging works, because on Friday the park announced that the Preschool Card was, "Back by popular demand," a Busch Gardens announcement said. "Florida preschoolers can now enjoy all Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has to offer with the 2018 Preschool Card, including Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends all year long."

You have to register online in advance at buschgardens.com. Redeem your Preschool Card at a Busch Gardens Tampa Bay or SeaWorld Orlando ticket window and present your child’s birth certificate or passport and your Florida resident ID.

Busch Gardens currently has a deal for its 2018 Fun Card, for unlimited admission through Dec. 31, that also gets you a free pass to Adventure Island Water park. The pass is $104 and the offer ends March 25.

Busch Gardens regular one-day admission is $89 online, $104 at the gate, 2 and younger free.
