FREE WEBINAR: The SouthShore Regional Library, 15816 Beth Shields Way, Ruskin, presents Bring 'Em Back to Life, a web-based genealogy program, Jan. 15, at 3:30 p.m. In this web-based program for adults, learn how to create biographical profiles to organize your research on a person's character traits and decision patterns. Then learn to take the approach further to write detailed biographical sketches or novels. Online access is available for library cardholders from any remote location with Internet access. SCC REPUBLICAN ANNUAL MEETING: The Greater Sun City Center Republican Club will hold their annual meeting and officer installation Thursday, Jan. 24, in the SCC Chamber of Commerce Banquet Room. Social time at 1:30 p.m.; meeting at 2 p.m. The guest speaker will be Betty Jo Tompkins, who will discuss the changes in the 2013 Florida State Fair events in conjunction with the fair's anniversary. The meeting is open to all Republicans and like-minded voters.
