Rays-Red Sox game rained out, rescheduled to Monday
The Rays will have to wait at least another day for the chance to move into first place after tonight's game against the Red Sox at Fenway Park was rained out. It will be made up at 6:10 p.m. Monday, which would be David Price's day to pitch. Rays manager Joe Maddon said he hasn't decided on a starter for Monday. The rainout pushed the Rays rotation back a day for this weekend's three-game series in New York.Jeremy Hellickson, who was scheduled to pitch Thursday, will pitch Friday. Chris Archer will pitch Saturday and Matt Moore on Sunday. Felix Dubront, who pitched against the Rays Wednesday is scheduled to start Monday when the Rays return. Maddon said he will decide over the weekend who will pitch Monday, Price or Roberto Hernandez. Given the way Price breezed through the Red sox lineup during his complete-game victory Wednesday, it would be hard to imagine he wouldn't get the start, especially since it will keep him on his regular schedule.
