Tonight's Game 4 of the American League Division Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox at Tropicana Field is almost sold out.
At 10 a.m. today, the Rays said tickets for only a small number of unobstructed-view seats remained. Obstructed-view seats are covered and not for sale.
The game became necessary Monday night, when the Rays beat the Red Sox 5-4 in Game 3, allowing Tampa Bay to avoid a three-game sweep in the best-of-five series.
A sellout crowd of 33,675 at the Trop watched Monday as Jose Lobaton hit a ninth-inning, game-winning walk-off home run into the center-field rays touch tank.
Tonight's meeting is another elimination game for the Rays. Boston leads the series 2-1 and can move on to the AL Championship Series with a win. If Tampa Bay wins, Game 5 would be in Boston on Thursday.
First pitch tonight is slated for 8:37 p.m. and the game will be telecast by TBS.
Parking lots open at 4:30 p.m. and stadium gates open at 5:30 p.m. Rays batting practice runs from 5:50 to 6:50 p.m. and the Red Sox take BP from 6:50 to 7:40 p.m.
Remaining tickets can be purchased at the Tropicana Field box office, through Ticketmaster or at raysbaseball.com.
