Two of the top volleyball programs in Hillsborough County are without head coaches.
Sickles’ Rob Brashear has resigned, ending a 14-year tenure that included five district titles and 12 region tournament appearances since he took over in 2000.
On Wednesday, Brashear said the decision was personal and that he wanted to spend more time with his family.
The Gryphons finished 10-13 this past season, giving Brashear a 208-145 record at the school. Sickles reached the region semifinals in 2012.
Meanwhile, Margeaux Sinibaldi has moved on from Bloomingdale to pursue an assistant coaching position at Boston College.
A former player at the University of Tampa, Sinibaldi was Bloomingdale’s coach the past three years.
This season, the team went 18-12 and advanced to the Class 8A region semifinals.
