Countryside (4-1) at Tarpon Springs (4-2): Though this game is a non-district matchup, both teams are playing at a high level and are above the .500 mark midway through the season. The Cougars have bounced back from their lone loss of the season, to Palmetto, and notched consecutive blowout victories against Northeast and Clearwater. Tarpon Springs counters the Cougars’ pass-happy attack with running back Michael Ford (768 yards, nine touchdowns).
Bishop McLaughlin (1-4) at Shorecrest Prep (1-4): Shorecrest must stop Bishop McLaughlin’s balanced attack, which features quarterback RJ Perciavalle (599 yards, two TDs).
Sarasota Cardinal Mooney (3-1) at St. Petersburg Catholic (3-2): The Barons will need to rely upon their rushing attack, which is averaging 204.8 yards a game.
Indian Rocks Christian (4-2) at Canterbury (5-1): This contest will likely decide a postseason berth in Class 2A-District 5.
St. Petersburg (4-1) at Seminole (1-5): The Green Devils inched themselves closer to a postseason berth with a win over PHU last Friday.
Northeast (0-5) at Osceola (3-3): Northeast has been outscored 183-0 through five games.
Orlando Lake Highland Prep (0-5) at Admiral Farragut (3-2): Ryan Hearn’s group picked up another impressive win against Calvary Christian and will look to make it three in a row.
Carrollwood Day (3-3) at Keswick Christian (0-5): Crusaders quarterback Parker Holland has passed for more than 700 yards and five touchdowns.
Bradenton Christian (3-3) at Northside Christian (1-4): Mustangs had a tough time last week with Cambridge Christian, and it doesn’t get any easier against Bradenton Christian.
Palm Harbor University (3-2) at Dunedin (1-4): Outside of its 42-point output in Week 1, Dunedin has struggled to score. Matt LePain’s Hurricanes will look to bounce back from last week’s loss to St. Petersburg.
Gibbs (1-5) at Dixie Hollins (2-3): The Rebels will look to rebound from last week’s 48-3 loss to Venice.
