The Tampa Bay Lightning are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the team’s only Stanley Cup championship this weekend with appearances from some of that team’s stars — and the coveted trophy itself.
Fans can check out the Cup during the “Sunday with Stanley” celebration at the Forum beginning at 11:30. The event is open to the public and will include appearances by current Canucks coach and 2004 Lightning Stanley Cup coach John Tortorella, former captain Dave Andreychuk, and other former players including Fredrik Modin, Pavel Kubina, Chris Dingman and Tim Taylor.
The former players will accompany the Cup for appearances on Monday morning and afternoon, and will be present for a full alumni signing on Ford Thunder Alley on Monday prior to the Lightning-Canucks game from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Fans attending Monday’s game also can see the Cup as they enter the game and will receive replica Stanley Cup rings.
