FSU men share lead at golf champioship

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Arizona State's Jesper Kennegard and Augusta State's Henrik Norlander shot 4-under-par 68s to lead the individual race, while Oklahoma State and Florida State shared the team lead through Tuesday's opening medal-play round at the NCAA Division I men's golf championship. The Honors Course was made softer by weekend rains. That gave several competitors a shot at beating the course record 5-under-par 67, first shot by Tiger Woods en route to his NCAA title in 1996. Oklahoma State's Peter Uihlein birdied the final hole to shoot a 69 and tie Florida State's Seath Lauer for third place. Clemson's Luke Hopkins was 5-under after 17 holes but hit into a bunker on the 18th and two-putted for double bogey.
