WR Solomon Patton signing with Bucs

— The Tampa Bay Buccaneers emphasis on upgrading their offense continued after the draft on Saturday when the team immediately agreed to terms on a contract with priority free agent wide receiver Solomon Patton.

Patton, a University of Florida product, joins first-round draft pick Mike Evans of Texas A&M and sixth-round selection Robert Herron of Wyoming as the newest members of the Bucs receiving corps, agent Hadley Engelhard said.

The 5-foot-9, 173-pound Patton, a Mobile, Ala. native, caught 44 passes for 556 yards and six touchdowns and also ran 16 times for 71 yards as a senior with the Gators during the 2013 season.
