Rams hurting at QB

ST. LOUIS - Sam Bradford ran in the pool and rode an exercise bicycle Wednesday as the Rams tried to nurse their quarterback back to health. If Bradford can't go Monday night at Seattle, the Rams likely will be down to a player with zero NFL snaps because A.J. Feeley has all but ruled himself out with a broken right thumb. Tom Brandstater, elevated from the practice squad last week, took snaps with the first string in an abbreviated practice Wednesday. The former Fresno State standout has been on the active roster for three games this year. BEARS: Offensive coordinator Mike Martz, who has an expiring contract and has been linked to head-coaching openings at UCLA and Arizona State as well as the Jaguars, said he expects to be back with Chicago next season.
BENGALS: Cincinnati placed defensive tackle Pat Sims on season-ending injured reserve with a left ankle injury. BRONCOS: Linebacker Von Miller, who leads NFL rookies with 10.5 sacks, practiced with a cast covering the injured right thumb that sidelined him a week ago. PACKERS: Green Bay signed quarterback Graham Harrell to the active roster from the practice squad and placed tight end Andrew Quarless (knee) on season-ending injured reserve. … Linebacker Erik Walden was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct-domestic abuse following a fight with his girlfriend. He remains free on bond and is due back in court Dec. 27. SAINTS: Leading rusher Mark Ingram has a sprained toe on his left foot, raising the prospects that Chris Ivory could play this weekend after being a healthy scratch for two weeks. SEAHAWKS: Defensive end Raheem Brock was charged with drunken driving, a little more than a year after he was pulled over and accused of driving 85 to 90 mph on Interstate 5.
